View Park Hotel Tagaytay - A Virtual Tour of Their Newest Suites

View Park Hotel Tagaytay - A Virtual Tour of Their Newest Suites

View Park Hotel Tagaytay has held a special place in my heart ever since I stayed there last year. In fact, whenever somebody would bring up Tagaytay or would ask for a good place to stay, View Park Hotel Tagaytay would always be my number one recommendation.

As such, it shouldn't be surprising that I pushed and pushed and pushed for our MadTV.ph season finale to be shot there, despite the outrage of my Northern friends who wanted to stay in a more accessible hotel in Manila. :p

All of that outrage vanished the minute we got to View Park Hotel Tagaytay, though. After all, what is not to love about that place?

While I already loved the room that I stayed in last time, I fell even more in love with the room that we stayed in this time.

The thought of sleeping on that bed alone made me feel ultra lonely, though, so I convinced Miko to stay over for the night, even though he originally wasn't supposed to. Waha! My powers of persuasion prevailed! :p

Check out the rest of our room:

The perfect shower for couples?

Haha. It was a bit of a hassle for us, though, coz Miko and I are just friends, so the other person had to wait in the living room while the other showered. Lol.

Aaaaand what really made this room stand out from the previous one that we stayed in: the living room and dining extension. It really felt like condo living!

Although there was a TV in the living room area, there was a TV in the bedroom, as well. :) No fighting for channels here!

Just a quick segue lol: brought my trusty and spacious sequinned Mango overnight bag to Tagaytay with me. :)

Photos clearly do not do the place justice, though. To get a complete virtual tour of our room, the latest suites of View Park Hotel Tagaytay and a complete virtual tour of the place for that matter, watch this:

Hope you enjoyed it! Will be writing a blog post on their Presidential Suite along with another video of our last MadTV.ph episode for Season 1 soon. Stay tuned! :)

View Park Hotel Tagaytay: True Love at First Sight

It was a semi-rainy morning when Gerd and I got ready for our latest trip to Tagaytay. It was the first time he and I were getting out of Manila without Miko or David (or both) and I was both excited and worried at the same time.

Some thoughts that went through my head included "What happens if he realizes how annoying I actually am, now that Miko wasn't around to out-annoy me?" and "Who do I talk to if he and I end up bickering about something, now that Dave isn't around?" Lol.

As you can see, I brought my ever-trusty Time-Lined rucksack with me! :)

Since our resident drivers weren't with us, Gerd and I decided to get to Tagaytay our usual way: by commuting. Surprisingly, it was pretty easy. We got on a jeep from ATC to Starmall Alabang and they had shuttles going to Tagaytay in the parking lot! A bit pricey at Php120 if you ask me, but definitely hassle-free.

Once in Tagaytay, we just had to take a trike to Picnic Grove and there, literally right in front of it, was View Park Hotel Tagaytay.

I was instantly at ease when we got there. Everyone around us was friendly, everything around us was beautiful and there were fish in the reception area. Fish are therapeutic! :p

On the way to our rooms, we were able to see a few of the other things that we could enjoy at View Park Hotel Tagaytay:

I instantly fell in love with the garden area because it reminded me of The Shire. #geekalert

They also had this gazebo where we could request for a romantic dinner and which turned out to become my smoking area during our stay. :p

How beautiful is that hallway? Fo'serious.

And the actual room was gorge, as well!
I loved the curtains!

I loved the wall art!

And I loved that I came prepared with DVDs to watch for the night. Ended up going for "Knocked Up" followed by "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace". :) Spot my Freeway bag! (Yes, this post is full of product placements. Haha.)

I think we ate all of this. :p

Didn't touch the mini-bar, though. Say hi to my Crocs! :p

Ample space if you decide to stay in Tagaytay for longer.

Happy "kids"! :)

There seriously wasn't a single thing that I didn't love about the place and I would keep going back if my schedule and budget permitted me.

If you want to see more of the amenities and what View Park Hotel Tagaytay has to offer, then check out my full review on When in Manila here.
