Suiteblanco: Fresh. Urban. Chic.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to the launch of Suiteblanco in SM Aura Premier Shopping Mall, The Fort, where I was finally able to catch up with one of my bestest friends while checking out the store, shopping and watching hot ladies strut Suiteblanco's collections down the runaway.

Suiteblanco happens to be one of the most prominent fashion companies in Spain and is constantly growing in the international market. I practically fell in love with the clothes - and the prices - at first sight, so I am so happy that they have finally opened in Manila!

Here are some of their items that I feel every woman should have in her wardrobe:

You can never go wrong with white pants!

Teeny tiny pieces of clothing are for feeling-sexy days! :)

On the flip side, loose tops and comfortable jeans for casual days.

Pretty accessories to jazz up basic clothes.

The ultimate basics.

And, of course, feminine, frilly and girly items for all. :)

As you can see, Suiteblanco aims to please young women with a chic and cosmopolitan spirit. What I especially love are their leggings and sunglasses, though. I wish I had taken photos. You should definitely check out the store and see them for yourself! :)

Mega2Mega: A Mega Collaboration of Two Fashion Giants

A couple of months ago, I was invited to a grand event called Mega2Mega, where two fashion giants came together to feature a grand fashion show.

In a nutshell, the clothes and accessories used in the fashion show all came from SM Megamall, while the styling of the fashion show was done by the editorial team of Mega Magazine.

The show was hosted by Issa Litton and Tim Yap...

...but I couldn't take my eyes off of Tim Yap's shoes. :p
Studs and spikes FTW!

The first set of the fashion show was styled by Mega Magazine's Beauty Editor Kim Palanca and the clothes were by Forever 21 - one of my favorite stores ever!

She focused on simple earth-toned looks for the guys.

And dainty collared outfits for the girls.

Next up was the bright and colorful set styled by Mega Magazine's Deputy Editor Meryll Yan, courtesy of Promod:

I never saw myself as a bright and colorful gal, so I wasn't sure how to react when I won a Php5,000 gift certificate from Promod. Of course, I was ecstatic, but after seeing the set, I thought they only had colorful items to offer. Well, I went shopping there yesterday and I have to say: everyone will find something to buy there that will suit their personal tastes. Trust me.

Suki Salvador, Mega Magazine's Executive Creative Director styled the segment for Cotton On, one of the most recent additions to my favorite clothing brands of all time:

I loved the creative layering for the girls.

And the jock look for the guys.

But, oh hey, who's this?!??

One of my good friends and fellow blogger, Hezzy, got to walk the runway for Cotton On that day. We were sooo proud. Well, at least I know I was. That explains the crappy photos. I was so excited, I couldn't focus properly. :p

Anyway, back to show... Mega Magazine's Fashion Editor, Patrick Galang, styled the segment for Mango, the store that I would frequent the most if I had the funds to do so :p

Loving the maroon and black color scheme that he used for the show. Very classy and well put together.

AND THIS IS MY DREAM COVER-UP.
I NEED TO HAVE THIS IN MY LIFE.
PLEASE PUT IT ON SALE, MANGO.
PLEASE.

Aaaaaand before I wrap things up, here's more of Hezzy:

Yihee! :D

Congratulations to the Mega2Mega team on the successful event! :)

Thank you so much for having us!

Reliving Bench Universe

Fun fact: I don't watch television.

However, I am a bit of a social media addict, so it came to my attention that Bench Universe was showing on TV last night. In fact, it got hyped so much that #benchuniverse trended worldwide. Oh, the limitless powers of Bench!

As such, I thought it would be the perfect time to finally show you my photos from that prestigious event. :) Better late than never! Here they are:

The minute we walked into the Mall of Asia Arena, we were greeted by this epic stage of wonders!

Gotta love John's special photographer's pass.
If you want the best photos of Bench Universe online, then visit his blog now!

We sat around and munched on popcorn while waiting for the show to start and soon enough, the countdown began...

2 minutes and 26 seconds to go...

Excited peeps in the dark audience!

The excitement mounts!

By this time, all I could think of was Enchong Dee! :p

First up: Mig Ayesa!

Love this guy! Such a rockstar!

It doesn't hurt that he reminds me so much of David Bowie. Whom I worship and will worship forever.

Kim Chiu

She reminded me of Snow White when she came out. :)

Steven Silva

Jin Kazama peg? :p

Sophie Sumner

As always, Bench was able to bring in a gorgeous America's Next Top Model to walk the runway and this time it was the pink-haired beauty Sophie Sumner who was absolutely STUNNING and FLAWLESS. Why can't I look like that? :p

For Philippine Fashion Week F/H 2012, Allison Harvard and Dominique Reighard also graced the runways for Michael Cinco for Bench, and very recently, Raina Hein graced the runways for the Furnè One x Bench fragrance launch. Bench never disappoints!

Jake Cuenca

I really don't think I need to say much here. I'll just let the photos above do the talking... :p

Jasmine Maierhofer

My favorite model of all time!!!

Enchong Dee

The minute I saw the epic boat coming down, I knew this was what I was waiting for!!! :p #dramalines

Oh yesss... Hahaha. I'm afraid I got so excited, though, most of my shots of him are blurry. :( Thank God for John and his photos! :p

Diether Ocampo

Another epic and unforgettable entrance was given by Diether Ocampo.

Sorry for the Diether overload. He's got great arms.

Sadly, I overdid it with the Diether pictures coz right after I took that last one, my camera died. I forgot to charge!!! :(( Huhuhu. But, hey, it was all for the best, coz Gerd stole my lens to have his fun with his addiction after that anyway. I swear: he has no taste in women... which is prolly why he's dating me. :p

Ahhh. To put it mildly, Bench Universe really was amazing!!! And I will never get sick of looking at pictures of it and reliving it over and over again. Thank you so much for having us! I can't wait for the next one! :)

Don't forget to like Bench on Facebook and follow them on Twitter! :)
