Don't Miss the Giltbox Beauty Fair Tomorrow (It's Free of Charge!)

Have you heard of Giltbox yet? In case you haven't, this is the time to familiarize yourself with the brand.

Giltbox is the leading beauty and lifestyle retailer in the country and they are set to have their first ever Beauty Fair tomorrow, which you definitely shouldn't miss if you're a beauty junkie!

You can look forward to more than 40 booths from Giltbox's partner international and local brands, ranging from makeup to skincare to haircare to lifestyle products. And that's not all. There will also be various activities that you can enjoy with your besties, like beauty consultations, makeovers, discounts, and freebies for the attendees.

The highlight will definitely be the Make Your Own Giltbox activity, though, where you can make your own Giltbox consisting of 5 high end products (with brands like Benefit Cosmetics, Clinique, TRESemme, and more).

The best part? Everyone is invited and entrance to the Beauty Fair is completely free. Giltbox's Founder and Managing Director Paul Dimafelix shares, “We wanted this event to be open to all beauty enthusiasts and also to those who are beauty curious. People love makeovers and consultations, so we made sure that the event would have loads of that. Plus, if you get bored, you can just walk around the booths – you’re bound to find something you’ll like!”

See you there? :)

Meet the Very First My Veet Girl!

Last week, I was able to attend the My Veet Girl event at Prive Luxury Club, Fort Strip, Bonifacio High Street. Thank you, Sean, for having us! :)

It was a fun night of Victor Basa-ogling, favorite finalist-choosing, food, drinks and laughter for me and the girls. Here's what I wore:

Do excuse the oil on my face. I had come from another event beforehand and had some cardio going on in the form of walking around the Fort (I get lost easily!) :p

Anyway, My Veet Girl was a contest that searched for the Filipina who embodies Veet's essence of beauty and confidence the most. There were 9 finalists and we all had our favorites during the runway walk and the interview portion:

"We want to celebrate the beauty of Filipino women, so we came up with this search," said Veet Brand Manager, Angelo Dapilan. "We also want all women to experience what beauty feels like; beauty that comes from having silky smooth, hair-free skin."

Out of the 9, though, only one could come out victorious - one who would take hom a whopping Php50,000 in cash, a year's supply of Veet and a guaranteed spot in the second season of I AM MEG, Meg Magazine's reality TV competition.

That winner was none other than Trisha Duncan. Congratulations! :)

Looking forward to seeing what Trisha has to offer for I AM MEG during its next season! :)

See you at the first BDJ Box Beauty Social on March 24!

I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the first ever BDJ Box Beauty Social at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium this Sunday, March 24!

BDJ Box basically refers to a beauty product discovery subscription service existing generally for women. Brought to us by the makers of the Belle de Jour Power Planner - which you have undoubtedly heard of if you live in Manila and not under a rock - BDJ Box aims to help every Filipina unbox her own beauty.

For just Php480 a month, subscribers will get a mass-customized box with around 6 beauty products delivered straight to their doorstep.

As such, I am more than psyched to see what the activity booths at the Beauty Social will have to offer!

The best part is that the BDJ Box Beauty Social is open to everyoneHowever, only pre-registered girls will get to take part in the talks, get a loot bag, and get their pictures taken by a professional photographer. Slots are given on a first come, first served basis, as well.

To pre-register for a talk, just email hazel@belledejourpowerplanner.com the following:
