This Christmas, Globe has decided to be so kind as to partner up with Facebook to give its 36 million subscribers free access to Facebook on mobile phone for the next three months starting tomorrow (October 31, 2013). Is that the best Christmas and Halloween treat ever or what?

That's right. Every single Globe Prepaid, Postpaid, and TM subscriber using feature phones and smartphones in the country (Blackberry excluded - sorry!) will be able to access Facebook through Facebook's mobile site or app for free. This means that you will be able to post, like, comment, chat, add friends, upload photos, share posts, and more on Facebook without the need for Wi-Fi for the next 3 months! Awesomesauce!

If you're worried about billshock or nakaw load when it comes to this, then don't! You will be notified if you will incur data charges once a link that leads out of Facebook is clicked. Yay! :D

Plus - and I swear this next feature was made for me - if you don't have enough prepaid load on you, you can “loan” a 10MB data plan for only P10, which will be deducted on your succeeding top-up. This way, you can fully explore content outside Facebook, making the experience seamless and worry-free.
