I am always in awe whenever I watch ballet performances and this feeling of awe never seems to diminish. In fact, just watching this simple YouTube video of Ballet Philippines' "Pusong Wagas" was enough to get my blood stirring.
This video was made entirely out of mere pictures taken by Paul Alexander Morales, the Artistic Director of Ballet Philippines, and Victor Ursabia, the Dance School Director of CCP.
The lead dancers are Carissa Adea and Richardson Yadao, who play Princess Manda and Luyong respectively. Aren't they amazing?
Ballet Philippines' "Pusong Wagas" will be showing this weekend from February 17 to February 19, 2012 at the CCP Little Theater in Pasay - and I have two tickets to watch the Saturday performance at 8pm, but no 'date' yet.
