Freeway x Juan Luna Collection - Another Epic Filipino Artist Celebration

Freeway has been celebrating the lives of prominent Filipino Artists for years now. As such, it should come as no surprise that they have now decided to honor a man whose artworks have stood the test of time: Juan Luna, Filipino Master for Visual Arts.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the event coz of the bipolar weather, but I am sure it was full of amazing art and fashion the way that Freeway's events always go. The good news is that I still got a glimpse of the first ever Filipino Masters Collector's Series Juan Luna Collection. Check it out here yourself:

Juan Luna is famous for various masterpieces, including Spolarium, Battle at Lepanto and Death of Cleopatra, really shaping Philippine History.

Freeway's collection in his honor consists of corporate tops, casual knit tops, tailored dresses and jumpsuits for the ladies, as well as graphic tees for the men.

Ranging from semi-formal to casual, these pieces have different trends and styles in them that every modern Filipina is sure to love.

There is also an interesting mix of fabrics involved, including techno knits, satinized twills, stretch georgettes, and stretch poplins, which flatter the figure in the most comfortable manner.

As you can see in the photos above, the colors use a balance of warm and dark tones along with pops of bright colors.

With the Juan Luna Collection, Freeway revolutionizes the meaning of fashionalism and instils the culture and heritage of the Philippines in the hearts of Filipinos.

They also have a lot of gift items for the holidays, including canvas pritned shopping bags, iPhone cases and coin trays - all in special packaging that blends together art, fashion and history! :)
