Choose to be happy.

I am a bit of an over-thinker. This is mostly because I want to avoid drama and hurting people, but it is also because I want to avoid potential heartbreak. (I rarely succeed when it comes to the latter, though.)

A lot of the time, I find myself worrying about what my friends will think, what my parents will think, what my future will be like and who will get hurt in the process that I end up getting so upset while over-thinking that I forget to be happy.

Well, last night, someone finally shook me out of my emo reverie and asked me what I want. And for the first time in a long time right now, I'm going to act like that is the only thing that matters: my happiness.

striped Batman top and dripping cuff bracelet from Front Row Shop / satchel bag from Impulse Co / Pokeball bottlecap keychain from Hodge Podge / black boots from SM Parisian

Totes just discovered this new awesome online shop called Front Row Shop. They've got super awesome items at affordable prices, such as the shirt above (who doesn't love anything Batman?), and the bracelet below (currently have a fascination with all things zombie-ish and bloody, thanks to The Walking Dead Season 4).

While shipping does take quite a while (not the shop's fault - definitely our postal service's fault), I am super happy with the items now that they're here. In fact, I wear this cuff bracelet practically everywhere now. Best part is that it goes with anything! :) And it makes me happy! Tee hee. :) I'm easy to please.

Another current obsession? Pokemon X and Y on Nintendo 3DS? Is it sad that I'm debating whether I should watch the new Pokemon movie in the cinemas or not? Gotta catch 'em all! :p

If someone makes me happy, then I should feel free to bask in his digital and physical presence as much as I want. If someone makes me happy, I should feel free to enjoy the kilig moments and the anticipation of hearing from him and seeing him and just being happy, in general.

If doing something makes me happy, I should be able to do it without feeling guilty or bad about it. If choose to be happy, I should be happy. So, please stop raining on my parade and making me feel bad for doing so. Please, go forth and find your happiness, too :)

Choose to be happy.
Always.
:)

...except, of course, if your happiness means making somebody else's life miserable. Like mine. *ahem* Yes, this is for you.
