I'm on a roller coaster that only goes up, my friend.

Wow. I haven't updated my blog in a while and I apologise greatly to everyone that I owe blog posts to. I was just so busy juggling 3 different jobs, being sick and being a mom that I simply didn't have time for my personal blog anymore. :(

I hope you understand. I always make it a point to churn out quality posts and didn't want to resort to copy-pasting, so please do bear with me as I catch up with everything that I owe. It is the first time in about 3 weeks where I don't have 1236 emails to answer or 21 articles to write in a day, so will try and schedule a few posts this week. :)

Despite being busy and not having slept properly in about a month, though, I am happy. That is a very rare thing for me to say, so let me just say it again: I am happy. :)

While work keeps me busy as hell, it also keeps my mind off of things that I shouldn't be thinking about. And that's a good thing. I get so tired by the end of the day, that all I do is cling onto the 2.5 hours of sleep that I get to sneak in, leaving no time to dwell on past mistakes, stupid decisions and what-ifs anymore.

I've also been separating myself from some of my friends. See, I realised that I had a lot of 'friendships' that didn't have any substance.

There's this one guy who I've known for months and who I used to see almost everyday, and he didn't even know I was a mom. We were just friends for the sake of it. Now that I've sorted out my friends list and broken free from those unnecessary friendships, I feel much lighter, happier and stress-free.

You should try it. Just decluttering your Twitter and Facebook friends list can do wonders for your sanity.

I also have a new-ish crush and let's face it: crushes bring about the kilig factor that can keep us going for hours and hours on end. Am I right or am I right? Lol.

Is there a future with this guy? Hmm. I don't even know and I don't even care right now. All that I know is that he makes me happy and right now, that's all that matters.

As my good friend David put it, "Don't over think and dream of possible scenarios. Just think of him as your happy crush, so you won't be all emo again." Naks! Haha. I remind myself of this everyday and it's been working very well for me. :)

Of course, coffee keeps me happy, too. Haha.

How have you guys been? I've been so disconnected from the blogging world (When in Manila aside) and would love to hear what I've missed. Feel free to leave me super long comments, tweet me, leave your blog link for me to visit, etc. It would make my day, I swear! :)
