Couple Shots: Spend Time, Not Money

As mentioned in a recent post of mine, Gerd had a talk in Assumption College recently. After his talk, I was very pleasantly surprised when Erika Paulino offered to take our couple shots for us. :D Thank you so much for the pictures in this blog post, Erika! :)

Now, I know that Gerd and I haven't been in a relationship for very long yet (we actually only celebrated our first month a day before his talk - something he also announced there in front of everyone! Haha. *kilig*), but I can't help but be amazed at how he keeps teaching reminding me that it's the lil things that matter in life.

There was this one time where he said something that really stuck with me: "Let's spend time, not money."

And it's true, you know. Relationships shouldn't be about the things that your significant other buys you or how expensive your last dinner was together. It should be about finding happiness in each other, regardless of what you do. :)

And, to be perfectly honest, being happy with Gerd > being unhappy in my dream Jeffrey Campbells any day. <3
