Glade: My Bathroom's New Best Friend

This is going to be gross to admit, but out of all the bathrooms in the Rodriguez household, I have the worst-smelling one.

It has nothing to do with poor hygiene or laziness when it comes to cleaning, though - I swear!!! It has something to do with the pipes that lead into my bathroom. While I don't quite understand the logistics behind it, the men who came to check out the pipes said that there was nothing they could do to fix my predicament. :(

I had no idea what to do, but to try not to breathe too much whenever I brushed my teeth or got ready to go out. So, when I received these items from Glade, it was my ultimate dream come true.

I was still skeptical, though. "Yes, the colors are all pretty and they look good enough to eat, but are they good enough to actually get rid of the stench in my bathroom?"

When I heard that Glade costs Php108 for a holder and a refill pack, and Php80 per additional refill, I realized I really didn't have much to lose; but I am also very happy to announce that they are good enough! *insert silly victory dance here*

I decided to try out the Lavender Glade scent first because I remembered how my favorite candle scent in Thailand was lavender. I used to have a thing for scented candles... until I became a mom and realized that kids + fire = not good.

When my mom entered my bathroom after just 20 minutes of me placing the Lavender Glade scent in there, she said - and I quote - "Have you started using candles again ? It smells like a spa in here." Mission accomplished! :D

The best part is that I can place the Glade holder on practically any flat surface, clip it onto different areas or use its back sticker to stick it onto clean surfaces - be it on mirrors or glass in bathrooms, rooms or cars. The scent isn't overwhelming, either. It's just right.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to try out all of the other Glade scents, but before I do, I want to see how long one scent will last first.

Stay tuned for more Glade scents reviews on my blog! :)

    1. These scents would actually work well in other rooms and even in cars coz the smell isn't overwhelming. I have a friend who uses them in his bedroom :)
