Hoo Run the World?

Beyonce sings that girls run the world, but I completely disagree. If girls ran the world, I'd be ripping my hair out right about now.

Let's face it: I'm not good with dealing with girls. And the girls that I can deal with... well, I don't see them too often in fear that I'll end up not wanting to have to deal with them anymore.

I've tried, though. It is sad to note that all girls out there are tattletales and gossips - including myself. However, the key lies in knowing who you can rant and gossip to.

Telling random, uninvolved people about other people's problems just because you need attention and love is uncool. Social climbing and using people is uncool, too. Keep it real, homes.

Anyway, despite the "friends" that I have recently lost, I make it a point to keep a smile on my face, move on with my true friends, let go of the disappointments and forget the shit in the past. I believe that that is the true secret to staying happy, young-looking and stress-free. :)

Here's what I wore to a random ATC date:

brown studded clogs from Manels

blue dress from Pink Fashion

I'm not a big fan of dresses, but Pink Fashion's collection is divine! They have girly dresses, rockstar dresses, classy dresses and unique-looking dresses available that can be styled every which way, regardless of what your personality might be like.

I love this particular dress that Pink Fashion sent me because it comes with spiky necklace details for a subtle rockstar vibe. Y'all know how much I love my spikes! Plus, I didn't have to worry about accessorizing anymore! :)

owl sling bag from Accessorize

Spikes aside, I'm also a major sucker for owls! So, when I saw this baby on the Accessorize Facebook page, I knew I just had to have it, even if it meant going to five different Accessorize stores (seriously... I counted!) just to find it. Accumulated gift certificates well spent! :D

Truth be told, I am incredibly happy to have the tiny circle of friends that I have now. They keep things simple. They know who they can trust. They admit their faults when confronted. They laugh off the bad vibes. They do not hold grudges. They speak their minds and don't judge me for speaking mine. And, above all things, they keep me happy.

There really is nothing more I could ask from them. I love you, guys. You know who you are. :)
