Keep Calm and... MICKEY MOUSE!!!

Before I figured out what my real problem was, people used to think I had ADD. I could be ranting about something completely stupid one minute and then laugh out of nowhere because I saw something that reminded me of something else.

My thoughts aren't any different. I could be telling myself to keep calm one second, just to finish the thought with "Oooo. Mickey Mouse!" and that's what the title is all about.

Yesterday, I went down a huge downward spiral because I had the chance to meet the most important celebrity of my student life, Sarah Jessica Parker, but missed it because of a lack of Wi-Fi. I then went through a desperate bubble of desperate desperation that I would really rather forget and was just waiting for my "ADD moment" to arrive, so I could get over it already.

The "ADD moment" never came. I can't tell if this is a good thing because my thoughts have somehow learned how to stabilize or a bad thing because I woke up still feeling horrible about it all.

Anyway, here's what I wore when the boys and I went to Fuego Pansol Resort earlier this month:

blue star shorts from Folded & Hung

Love these shorts! Wonder Woman represent!

rasta bracelet from Andrei
red heart sunglasses from a bazaar
studded beige cap from Young Wild Free
seashell bracelet from Koh Phi Phi, Thailand

I tried my best to showcase a summer look with the help of some of my latest BDJ Box Elite products: the Iskin New York Daily Sunshield SPF 25 and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock that kept me safe from the sunlight; and the Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede lipstick that gave my natural look a pop of color for a fresh, radiant and sun-kissed look overall. What do you think? :)

Had my YWF studded cap on to keep the rockstar vibe alive, too!

beige Mickey Mouse top from Style Hub

In case you didn't know I'm a huge Mickey Mouse fan, mostly coz i can relate to his face shape and his ears. Which is why I knew I had to have this top when I saw it online. So cute!

grey slouch socks from ASOS
brown loafers from Timberland

This is the first time I've ever worn loafers in my life. Be kind.

cream rucksack from Time-Lined

I also fell in love with this rucksack from Time-Lined the first time I set eyes on them. It's really comfy to carry around, rain or shine, and no matter the distance. It also fits a ton of stuff in it (Mary Poppins much?). Will write a proper review on this soon!

Yesterday, I recognized the importance of meditation. Lol.

I'm still utterly devastated that I won't get to meet Sarah Jessica Parker while she's here, but I'm reminding myself every day hour to let go and let God.

If it wasn't meant to be, then it simply wasn't meant to be. :)

Keeping Calm,
Wonder Woman

  5. Love the photos here, Angel! Cute outfit :D And the Revlon lipstick looks nice - the shade is not boring but not too bold.
