Lookbook.nu Look: Wingardium Leviosa

I'm not really one to follow trends. Or, if I do decide to try out a trend, it's usually after the trend has "been there and has already been worn by everyone else".

This is the reason why I let my undercut grow out for a couple of months, too. Everyone had one! And now that everyone is growing out theirs, I re-shaved my head. :D

It may be strange and that's one of the reasons why I'm considered a black sheep, but that's just how I roll.

Well, I've had this tribal dress sitting in my closet for a while now and refused to wear it during the "tribal boom". Now that the boom has died down a bit, though, I thought I'd give it a spin.

Unfortunately, after I put it on, I realized I'm just not a tribal kinda girl. In Tagalog: hindi ko lang talaga keri. Since I'm persistent, though, I didn't give up on it and decided to add a bit of an edge to it instead. Here's what I came up with (wore this to the FILA event, btw - thus the sticker on my shirt that I forgot to take off :p):

black boots from CeCe

assorted rings from The Little Things She Needs and from Bangkok

tribal print dress from J'Adore La Mode Shop

black Deathly Hallows print shirt from Copper

YSL-inspired arty ring from Marianne Matic

What do you think? Did I successfully cover up the me-in-tribal-prints awkwardness? :p
